Frequently Asked Questions
How does per-seat pricing work?
Per-seat pricing means you pay a set monthly rate for each user or workstation we support. The exact cost per seat depends on the plan you choose and the services included. As your team grows or shrinks, your plan scales with you. No surprise invoices at the end of the month. Some services like Data Backup and Disaster Recovery, VoIP, and Print Management are available as add-ons at an additional cost, so you only pay for what you actually need.
What is included in a managed IT plan?
Every plan starts with a baseline of monitoring, help desk access, and security essentials. From there, each tier adds layers like on-site support, advanced cybersecurity, compliance tools, and strategic planning. Some plans also include a bank of project hours for things like system upgrades or small infrastructure work. Data Backup and DR, VoIP, and Print Services are available as add-ons so you can build the right coverage without paying for things you do not use. The plan comparison above breaks it all out so you can see exactly what you get at each level.
Are there setup fees or hidden costs?
There is no onboarding fee. We absorb the setup cost because we want to make the transition easy, not expensive. Your monthly per-seat rate is your monthly rate. The only additional charges come from major project work like office moves, full system migrations, or large infrastructure overhauls. Even then, some of our higher-tier plans include project hours that can cover that kind of work. We also offer optional add-ons like Backup and DR, VoIP, and Print Management for teams that need them.
How do I know which plan is the right fit?
Start with the cost calculator above to get a ballpark number based on your team size and needs. Then use the plan comparison to see which features matter most. If your team needs networking hardware, we also offer leasing options at a fixed monthly rate so you do not have to buy equipment outright. If you are still not sure, book a free consultation and we will walk through your setup together and recommend the right fit. No pressure, no pitch.
Can I change plans later if my needs shift?
Yes. Plans are designed to scale. If your team grows, adds a new location, or needs stronger compliance coverage, we can adjust your plan without starting over. You can also add or remove optional services like Backup and DR, VoIP, or Print Management as your needs change. Upgrades take effect quickly and we handle the transition so nothing breaks in the process.
What is the difference between block hours and a managed plan?
Block hours give you a bank of prepaid support time to use as needed. You call us when something breaks or when you need help with a project. A managed plan is ongoing and proactive. We monitor your systems, handle updates, provide security, and act as your IT department. Block hours work well for businesses that only need occasional help. Managed plans are built for teams that want consistent coverage and fewer surprises.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
We offer two plan terms: 12 months and 36 months. The 36-month plan comes with a built-in discount for teams that want to lock in their rate and commit to a longer partnership. If you are not ready for either, block-hour support has no contract requirement at all. We want you to stay because the service is worth it, not because of a clause in fine print.
