How are you different from a bigger MSP?
Bigger MSPs often treat small businesses like an afterthought. You get a ticket number, not a person. At Revtek, you work directly with the same team every time. We keep things simple, explain everything in plain language, and only recommend what actually makes sense for your business. No layers of bureaucracy, no one-size-fits-all packages.
What size businesses do you work with?
We primarily work with small businesses in the Chicagoland area, typically between 5 and 75 employees. That includes professional services firms, healthcare offices, nonprofits, and other organizations that need reliable IT but do not have the budget or need for a full internal IT department.
What if we already have an IT provider?
That is completely fine. A lot of our clients come to us after outgrowing their current provider or getting frustrated with slow response times and cookie-cutter solutions. We are happy to do a no-pressure review of your current setup and give you an honest opinion on where things stand. If your current provider is doing a great job, we will tell you that too.
Do you lock us into a long contract?
Our managed plans are available on 12-month or 36-month terms, with a built-in discount on the longer commitment. We do not charge onboarding fees, and the terms are straightforward with no hidden costs. The structure gives both sides enough time to build a real working relationship and see results, which is hard to do on a month-to-month basis. If you want to start smaller, our block hour packages have no contract requirement at all.
Can you handle our industry-specific compliance needs?
We work with businesses in regulated industries including healthcare, legal, and finance. While we are not a compliance auditor, we build IT environments that support your compliance goals. That includes enforcing access controls, managing encryption, running audit-ready reporting, and partnering with specialized vendors when deeper expertise is needed.
What happens if something breaks after hours?
Every managed plan includes after-hours emergency support. If something critical goes down outside business hours, you can reach us and we will respond. We also monitor systems around the clock, so in many cases we catch problems before they affect your team.
Do I have to deal with your vendors directly?
No, and that is by design. We manage all vendor relationships on your behalf. Whether it is your internet provider, VoIP system, cybersecurity tools, or cloud platforms, everything goes through Revtek. You get one point of contact and we handle the coordination, escalation, and accountability with each vendor directly.
