Our Process for Managed IT Support
Every business we support goes through the same proven steps. Clear structure, real conversations, and a plan built around your business. Here is how we go from first conversation to fully managed IT support.
Track All Devices, Without Losing Your Sanity
Giving visibility, control, and better decisions, without letting hardware get missed.
From First Call to Fully Supported
Step 1: Discovery Call
We start with a conversation. No demos, no slide decks. We learn how your business runs, what is working, what is not, and what matters most to you. This usually takes 30 minutes.
Step 2: Systems Review
We look at your current setup: network, devices, security, backups, and any pain points you flagged. This gives us a real picture of where things stand so we can recommend the right plan, not just the most expensive one.
Step 3: Proposal and Plan Selection
Based on the review, we put together a clear recommendation with pricing. No jargon, no hidden fees. You pick the plan that fits, and we walk through any questions before you commit.
Step 4: Onboarding
We deploy our monitoring and management tools, document your environment, and make sure your team knows who to contact and how. If your plan includes services managed by our vendor partners, like VoIP, print management, or advanced cybersecurity platforms, we set those up too. Everything is coordinated through Revtek so you never have to deal with a separate company. There is no onboarding fee. We absorb the setup cost.
Step 5: Ongoing Support
Once you are onboarded, your team has direct access to help desk support, remote assistance, and on-site visits depending on your plan. We handle patching, updates, security, and monitoring in the background so your team can focus on their actual work. If something involves a vendor-managed service, like a phone system issue or a print problem, you still just call us. We coordinate with the vendor, manage the resolution, and follow up with you directly.
Step 6: Regular Check-Ins
We review your setup periodically to make sure things are still aligned. If your team grows, your needs shift, or something new comes up, we adjust. Plans are built to scale with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does onboarding usually take?
Most onboardings take 2 to 4 weeks from signed agreement to fully supported. Smaller teams move faster. Larger or compliance-heavy environments take longer. We are clear about the timeline before you sign so there are no surprises.
What do you need from us before we get started?
A discovery call, access to your current systems, and time with one or two people who know how your tech is set up. We handle the rest. We also document everything as we go so your knowledge does not stay locked inside our team.
Will there be downtime or disruption during the transition?
The whole transition is designed to be invisible to your team. We run the systems review, deploy our tools, and document your environment in the background. The only time staff feel anything is when we introduce a new portal or login, which we communicate ahead of time.
What happens during the systems review step?
We map your hardware, network, security stack, infrastructure software, and vendor relationships. We surface gaps, risks, and quick wins. We do not audit your business applications, but we document how they connect into your environment so you understand the full picture. By the end you know what you have, what is missing, and what we recommend.
How do you handle the handoff from a previous IT provider?
We take the lead on coordinating with the outgoing provider so you do not have to. That includes getting credentials, documentation, and any vendor relationships transferred cleanly. If your previous provider is uncooperative, we have a playbook for that too.
What happens if we hit a problem after onboarding ends?
Onboarding flows directly into ongoing support. There is no gap. Your team has access to the help desk from day one, and we schedule regular check-ins so issues never sit in a queue. If something goes wrong, you have a real human to call.
